ABOUT ITZA VAULT

ITZA Vault is a Colorado Limited Cooperative Association building a better way to handle identity verification.

We created a system where individuals are verified once - in person, by trusted professionals - and can then reuse that verification across participating platforms without repeating the full KYC process.

Our Mission

To replace repetitive, privacy-invasive identity checks with a reusable, user-controlled verification model that respects individuals while meeting the compliance needs of businesses.

We believe identity verification should be secure, efficient, and human-centered - not hidden behind opaque corporate systems that duplicate data and erode trust.

Why We Exist

Today, people are asked to verify their identity repeatedly - for banks, marketplaces, social platforms, age-gated services, and more. Each time, sensitive documents are shared and stored across different systems, creating friction, cost, and unnecessary privacy risk.

Businesses pay for the same verification work over and over, while users lose control of their data. ITZA Vault was founded to solve this inefficiency with a cooperative model that puts real accountability and privacy first.

How ITZA Vault Is Different

We combine trusted human oversight with modern technology:

• Vetted Agents (notaries and legal professionals) perform quick, in-person identity verifications.
• The ITZA Vault app keeps personal data under the user's control.
• Participating businesses simply check a secure verification status when authorized - no need to restart the full process.
• As a cooperative, the majority of value created flows back to the Agents who do the work, rather than distant shareholders.

This creates a more transparent, sustainable, and privacy-conscious verification network.

Our Cooperative Model

ITZA Vault is structured as a cooperative because we believe the people doing the essential work - the Agents who verify identities face-to-face - should share meaningfully in the value they help create.

Businesses purchase verification services directly from the Cooperative. Agents receive the majority share of fees, reflecting the standard cooperative principle that members who contribute the core service receive the majority of the economic benefit.
